Chapter One introduces the research problem and the rationale for this type of study. Chapter Two provides a historical background of the writing instruction and research in English as a second language as well as an overview of the impact computers have had on the teaching of L2 writing. Chapter Three describes the methodology of the study. Chapters Four and Five respectively provide the results and analysis of the study.
